Netbook reflection 2013,

It is a pleasure that I still got my netbook because it had hardly any problems wrong with it but only a couple of times.As maths is going on I am getting more confidence at my basic facts,But not just my basic facts I learnt heaps of different strategy in different ways.It’s a great device to work online and do your own things.

If we didn't have an laptop we wouldn't have an opportunity to go online we will just do everything on a piece of paper.In maths I use to struggle heaps in maths but now I don’t because this progr

am Xtra maths had helped me with all my basic facts.

Maths whizz is another program that helps with different strategy's and also ideas.My teacher has showed me how to use my Google drive,Go on things for learning.Each week we have an rotation and during that rotation id learn new drawing tools and how to make a Gif picture.

Also I’d help some friends that really needed help with there net book. I’d thank Mr Burt and Mrs Burt for this great opportunity that we got net books to use instead of using piece of paper.I have learnt so much people that need to find there things,look for there pictures,forgotten which folder they put their stuff in. 

YouTube is one of the programs when you can get search anything,there are all sorts of Maths strategy's that are able to watch,learn and if you need help.

This is the best thing I can ever use at school,A big huge thanks to Mr,Mrs's Burt for our Netbooks.

 

Learning Highlights

Learning Highlight's,

With our netbooks we get to goon different programs that can help with our maths and with our maths I learnt so much things that now I am working with the year 8's and all there strategy's.In maths I use to be at year 5 stage but all this work I have done had made me move up to year 8 stage and I feel so good after all those terms.My family are proud of me for trying and trying to get there and now I'm.

Highlight of the year

It was really cool to be in room twenty two when we get to work on our net-books each day doing writing and also Maths Whizz .Maths,Maths every day after morning tea,Its nearly the end of the year for the year 8's so hopefully they pick more things before they go off to high school.
My other highlights are learning more things about maths and trying to get to the top.I really liked it when we had the first time to do any thing like playing good games like mine-craft.Some of us could play on-line so we can build heaps of houses on mine-craft.Friends are cool at helping you finding things and also the year 8's now it going to be me as a year 8 soon.Dancing,sports,and games are an very nice thing to do.Thanks to all the teacher's for every thing.

Action world

Action world was like a bouncing castle place but mixed with cool things.The jump n slide was so relaxing just jumping off and landing on a soft area.I really enjoyed the jousting bridge how we got to fight with a partner and knock them off.

The crazy Ladder was so crazy when your nearly to the top,I tried like five times but I’m still not there.I finally got a chance to go on the hire wire by my self trying to get to the end but I didn't get near the end.Rising my feet from the ground I hardly walked so I’d just watched everybody have fun and playing around.

It was free time and yes I got to go on every thing again.The best thing ever I went on would be the High wire,high and falling off.Paris was like a pro just walking straight and nearly walking back where he started.

It was time we left back towards school after we all that fun at action world.My highlight of the day was having fun with my friends and having a great time

Swimming Lessons

During the two weeks of swimming lessons I learnt much important things like not to touch the ground from far away.The instructors were awesome at telling us what to do in the water,But now I haven’t swimmed on the second week because my leg was injured.The highlight of the day in the first week Thursday, was just swimming with my friends and learning much more things.

I think I improved swimming much fast to the end and back.

My First day at school

Putting on my bright black and red uniform I brushed my hair as I walked outside to the car.Clicking my belt off I started to walk to class,waving by to my mum I knocked on the door twice. I thought there were going to be a load of children but wait one steep and there I was smiling at the teacher as she was taking me to the chair.

As the teacher passed me the book someone had helped me but who I forgot.Yes “ring ring the loud noise,i got my morning tea and sat next to my friend.There went the bell I went inside and the teacher went and gave me an activity to do.I’d had to do so much work for the first day.

There I went home early,so tired  i’d hardly walk but tomorrow I can.       

Typhoon in the Phillippines

 There has been a huge destructive Typhoon, that hit the Phillippines, around 300 people are dead. If this number is correct it will become the country’s deadliest recorded natural disaster. The rescue teams are heading in to the parts of the Phillippines that need help and people are waiting to be saved.

Meanwhile,  the central part of the Phillippines in Samar Island a reporter says that another 300 people have been confirmed dead by the Typhoon. In the Phillippines, Experts think that death toll may rise up to 10,000 people. Buildings have been destroyed, Streets have been underwater and many Landslides has happened. New Zealand people were so sorry for the Filipinos and they were quick to sent $150,000 in aid into the Phillippines.
