Rugby Game

Suddenly I felt tired because I woke up early. Watching t.v I heard my dog bark so I looked outside and It Was My uncle(Anthony’s dad). So I had to wake up my dad and said to him uncles here. So they had a talk and My brother and I got to go to his house for a few hours. Luckily my cousins were there so were can play the arcade, The arcade was mixed with a windows 7 computer.

One of my cousins were being good and he got to go to skateland with the neighbours!. Well hes going to miss out on the rugby game, The rugby game is across the road from Carl's junior and also near the netball courts. The game starts at 3 pm so we left the house at 2pm. Were jus playing passes and kicks when we were waiting for the game to start.

As the time was up Anthony team was ready to play and tackle. The other team was kicking first, the crowd was cheering and all the family's were watching there Kids play. Its a good game and also there no chit chating about the other team. There all look the same hight but can tackle hard.

As the game was finishing up we left to get something to eat like spaghetti and mince.

I reckon It was a ruff game for Anthony's team and the other team they played. It was a fine sunny day for the rugby game I watched.

How to play Flappy Bird? to play Flappy Bird you use your fingers to tap. While tapping the bird you must try not to hit or touch the tunnels you go through. Every time you go through a tunnel you get a point, to me The main purpose of this game Is getting through the tunnels to see what your high score Is.

If Its your first time playing this game It Is gonna be hard because when I got this game It took a very long time to get to a score that I really wanted. As I searched up Flappy Bird on youtube their were alot of people smashing ipads & phones. Their Isn't just Flappy Bird thier Is heaps of different games like Flappy Bird but difficulty.

How to use Skype? It Is a simple app to use. If It Is your first time using this you have to sign up. To sign up you have to add your details, Your gmail or other  account and your password. When you are done you can start adding people.

Skype Is an app that you can use the camera with at all times.The Skype app lets you call people through the camera And lets you chat. To use this app you have to have Internet otherwise you can’t call and chat. I like Skype because you can add people from around the world and call them through camera.

I think there are two different Skypes, Skype & Skype wifi. Skype wifi Is Skype but you don't use credit to ring people. If you have the real Skype you have to have credit to ring people.

My favourite Experiment At The Science Road Show

On friday the 23rd some classes got to go to a Science road show, The science road road show was placed at Tamaki college. All of a sudden we got their and there were different types experiments that looked interesting and looked difficulty to try out. Shayne was one of our tour guys that told us what there was, what kind of stuff and what we can do.

Having a look at all the experiments there were a few that looked tricky to try out but I was lucky because one of the Students that go tamaki college helped me out and telled me what It does. Finally I found me a very cool and experiment that includes letters. The experiment was finished and it came out hot.

For my letters I chosen parts of my name. With letters the student place It on a burning thing that looked like a box. The student opened It then She put a square plastic paper looking on top of the letters.

1. There are different  types of guitars that have a different shapes, different sizes and different sound. The guitar that we have in our class is shaped like a pear but the stick part Is a bit long. Did you that there Is a strap for the guitar, when you walk  around with the guitar In your hand

  

2. What are the parts of the guitar? The tip of the guitar is called the head, If you damage the head that means you can’t tune it I think. Near the head there are tuning keys to make the sound high or low. There are strings that are attached to the head and the bridge, The bridge Is at the bottom   

3. How Is sound created from a guitar?

When I strum the nylon strings It vibrates and sound travels Into the soundhole then It bounces out to make a louder sound. For an example If I was strumming the guitar with a pick the pitch will sound clearer and It would be easy to strum. There Is a electric guitar that Is quite heavy and loud. What I like about It Is that you can plug it up to an amplifier to make It sound really loud and you can also change the volume.

Science experiment:

Question: What will happen to the sound if I change the shape of a piece of paper? (e.g. from a flat shape to a funnel shape)

Materials needed:

Experiment (procedure):

e.g. Step 1 - First hold a flat piece of paper against your ear. Block your other ear with your hand. Get your partner to speak to you. What is the sound like? Can you hear clearly?

Step 2 - Next, roll the piece of paper into a funnel shape. Put the funnel against your ear. Face the funnel towards your partner and listen to them speak. What does it sound like? Can you hear clearly?

Step 3 - Next, face the funnel to the side while your partner speaks to you. Does it make a difference to the sound that you can hear?

Step 4 - Put some cotton balls or tissue paper into the funnel to block one end. Does it make a difference to the sound you hear?

Step 5 - Next, roll the piece of paper up and l

Observations:

When I used a flat piece of paper the quality still sounded the same but is was focusing to one side. When I rolled the paper into a funnel  facing the front my partner spoke, the sound was much louder than before and was focusing on his voice. This time I faced the funnel to the side but the sound felt fuzzy and blurry. When I added a Piece of tissue it was like a echoey sound instead of a clear sound. When I rolled up a piece of paper facing the front it kind of sound the same as before. As I was facing the rolled up paper to the side It sounded like a dizzy kind of tone.    

Conclusion:

What I've learnt was a paper funnel facing to the front was clearer than the funnel facing to the side. With a paper funnel or something else like that is very handy it can make your voice a lot louder.

What Is Sound?

What Is music?

I like music because its really interesting and joyful. Songs can cheer up people when they're sad or unhappy. Music can emotionally hit people deep down to make them feel like they’re gonna cry or maybe they’re in the same place.

Types?

There are a variety of types, Like Rap, Pop, Hip Hop, Dubstep, Jazz. Rap is one my favourites that I like to listen to. What is Rap? Well for an example if I was going to rap I’ll tell someone to come up with a beat like beatboxing. One of my favourite rappers is Eminem.

MY Favourite Artists

My favourite artists are Eminem & Chris Brown. Eminem Is one my best rappers because makes Heaps of albums. Chris Brown Is a Hip hop kind of guy that can make different types of albums.

Instruments

What kind of instrument are their? There are Drums, pianos, Heart, guitar and much more. What is a Instrument? well its like sound but a different sound. Some of the instruments have different sizes, width and  a different tone.
