Texas Writing

One cold day, Pt england school went to the reserve to have a picnic. We got got there and suddenly i forgot to bring my water bottle so i just waited for my mum to come. Mr Burt our principal said some things and then we had to walk to the far end to put our bags there,i asked Mrs Nua if she wanted a lolly and said”Yes .

Me and my friends eat morning tea before we go to play. I said” Jacob should we go skim some rocks” and he said “yes”. Walking to the sand we couldn’t hardly find any rocks so we went to make something out of clay. It was hard to make some thing because it took too long.

I saw my mum with my water bottle and my new jacket she bought. I went over to get it and go back to play,i went to play softball and i was batting first,I hitted the ball with the bat and i ran to base three.

Once the batter battered i got a home run and had a rest because i was running like a tiger.I saw team 5 getting ready to swim but i wasn’t i just had a rest and ate my lunch.I looked at my drink bottle it had a flavour of lemon and lime,I just noticed my foot was bleeding and i know why i was the cracked glass just sitting there i was time to go so we packed up and went to our teacher.

We were on our way back to class,




This morning we all completed our first writing sample for 2013.I have posted it just as I wrote it in the 40 minutes we were given, so that throughout this year I will be able to look back and reflect on the progress I have made in my writing ,I will post my goals from this soon
